Kınalıada istanbul

Kinaliada is one of the smallest of the Istanbul Islands. It is 1500 x 1100 kilometers in size. kinaliada got its name because of the appearance of a distant red ringing in the periods when it was covered with macis. It has three hills, including the Sycamore Hill, the Incentive Hill and the Monastery Hill. After being deposed, the Byzantine Emperor Romanos Diogenes was closed to the Hristos Monastery and lived in exile until the end of his life.

During the Armistice years M. Kemal Ataturk was hidden for a while in the Taschian House on the island. Author Fazil Ahmet Aykac has been a symbol of Kia-aliada. In kinaliada, due to the fact that it is very rocky, there are no trees. In the Byzantine period, it is known that stones were brought from the cliffs here for the construction of the fortifications. Due to the stones removed from the island, the land is broken. The most notable feature on the island is the large radio and television antennas on the Sycamore Hill. The island is much calmer than other islands as it has no water and electricity in the past. Electricity came to Ada in 1946. kinaliada, who previously managed to carry with tankers and water, was able to get rid of thirst in 1981.
