Ula district, which is located in the southern region of Muğla province, is bordered by Köyceğiz in the east, Gökova Bay in the west, Menteşe district in the north, and Marmaris district in the south. The towns of Akyaka and Gökova, located close to each other at the tip of the Gulf of Gökova, are the fastest rising centers of the international tourism industry. You can see the most beautiful examples of civil architecture in Muğla in Ula. Ula is known for its builders as well as its structures. But most of the old buildings in Ula have also been demolished. Some of the surviving ones are preserved. It will be worth wandering around the side streets and seeing and photographing.
