Basaksehir District was established with the participation of 6’her neighborhoods connected to Kucukcemecemece, Esenler and Bahcesehir. Basaksehir District, consisting of 9 neighborhoods and 1 village, has a total area of 10.433,6 Haclanekmecemece, Kueyu. In the north and northwest of the district is the Municipality of Albania; in the northeast is the Municipality of Sultangazi; in the south the Municipality of Hunters, the Municipality of Kucukcekmece and Bagcilar; in the east is the Municipality of Esenler; in the west and southwest is the Municipality of Esenyurt.
Transport
The TEM Highway, which provides intercity transportation and passes south of Basaksehir County. It is important at the 1st degree. continuing in the form of an extension of the 2nd throat bridge, the TEM Highway continues to have limited access to Edirne and provides a seat to the Ikitelli from the Mahmutbey junction to the north.TEM’s sideways are of second importance in the road hierarchy. Apart from these, there are important main arteries in the district, but there is no regular road hierarchy.
There are bus and minibus lines as public transport in Kucukcekmece County. However, starting from the Sirkeci, the railway, which continues in the north-south direction within the district boundaries, provides intercity service after Halkali. In addition to these, there is the light metro and metro line whose project has been completed and the metro line continues to be implemented.
