Kandıra is located in the north of the Kocaeli Peninsula. Places such as Kefken, Kerpe, Bagirganli, Kumcagiz, Cebeci, Seyrek, Sarisu, Pınarli, which are the most well-known places of Kandira, are flooded with visitors during the summer months, and holidaymakers from nearby geography such as Izmit, Istanbul and Adapazari also come here. It is more crowded, especially on weekends.
